Mr Tebaldi was as a commercial pilot for a company based at London City
airport and a keen sportsman. He was 29 years old and was pronounced
dead at the scene of the motorbike accident. He was travelling along
the B4455 near Fosse Wharf Farm at around 3pm when his yellow Honda
motorbike collided with a Fiat Ulysses.
His parents John and Sheila expressed their shock and devastation but received some comfort in the manner their ambitious and popular son lived his life to the fullest.
Mrs Tebaldi said: “Jason lived life to the full for the 29 years he had. He was so happy and kind and a real family man to his younger sisters Joanne and Lucy and his four lovely nieces".
Fosse Way has been the site of several serious accidents, including one last month in which 18-year-old a Binswood Sixth Form student Lauren Wiltshire died. Her mother has demanded something be done to make the road safer. A funeral service for Mr Tebaldi will take place at Princethorpe College chapel at 12.30pm on March 3.
