His injuries caused by the motorbike accident could have been much more debilitating, he suffered a broken left leg and a fractured pelvis. Mr Narramore alleges 10 instances of failings on the part Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust. One of which is that no appropriate action was taken  over x-rays and not wholly removing a dead bone fragment from his leg in an operation in 2000. It is alleged that an infection arising from the dead bone ultimately caused the the need for his leg to be amputated.

It should be highlighted that Mr Narromore did recommence his work 2 years after the accident, “I’d work from 5am to 11pm some days", he says. He progressed to becoming a foreman but unfortunately had to give up work after 8 years due to increasing pain in his leg.

Mr Narramore is claiming damages caused by the motorbike accident which are not yet quantified but are expected to be as high as £150,00. This is excluding any claim that may be made for loss of earnings as Mr Narramore has not been able to work as a labourer due to the amputation. He now has an artificial leg, lost his partner and has become depressed. The case is due to be heard early next year.
